Red Robins (2 - 3 year olds)
Each of our Red Robins classrooms accommodate 14-16 children and are staffed with two highly energetic and motivated teachers that are trained in classroom, and behavior management as well as appropriate practices for toddlers. The third year in a child’s life is crucial time for language development and behavior management.
Weekly lesson plans and periodic assessments guide the teachers in providing an environment that encourage exploration and individual positive reinforcement and learning gains. The age is a great time to introduce potty training. All of our classrooms are equipped with bathrooms that include child size toilets to accommodate potty training needs.
Our staff at Bloom works closely with parents to help these children as they begin and master potty training. Children are taken to the potty at scheduled intervals throughout the day and are also taken on demand. Children are introduced to circle time, centers and many other group activities that begin to prepare them for pre-kindergarten.
Our Red Robins enjoy two visits daily to our “Little Nest” playground. The “Little Nest” boasts an eco-friendly artificial grass surface. Introductory gardening skills are integrated into the curriculum and put to use in our school garden beds.
Red Robins are provided with an environment and routines that reinforce positive behavior and promote learning through daily experiences. Bloom provides locally procured milk along with a variety of all natural, organic and healthy meals and snacks.
